Hibernation Series (Blanket Design)
This project was inspired by my childhood memory that my family will share a blanket together and having a family time in winter night.
The concept of “Hibernation” was inspired by this experience. Animal hibernating together to get through the winter and wait for the coming of spring, for a new beginning. I convey the warmth of family love to my audience through my blanket design.
I personify hibernating animals to convey this warmful, sound sleeping and nature atmosphere when people use the blankets. I researched some mammal groups hibernated in winter and to further develop my idea of “Hibernation” for the blanket design. Glis Glis, Bat and Hedgehog species, the three hibernating animals to be chosen in my blanket design.
Window Display Design
To convey my concept of “Hibernation”, I used purple and yellow to make a contrast and created a drowsy atmosphere. Moreover, I added some hibernating animal characters in the window display as a figure to attract my audience.
