Fresh Sardines is my latest risograph print. It was inspired by the phrase “packed like sardines.” The work reflects the everyday experience of being crammed into a crowded tube during peak hours. In this packed, metallic space, strangers are squeezed shoulder-to-shoulder, all moving with silent urgency toward their daily routines. I often feel like a fish in a tin, we are all in this strangely realistic moment.
